Product Updates – Smoother, Smarter Call Experience

You need to Reload your desktop app to get access to these features.

1. Smarter auto-reconnect
If your connection gets stuck at 25%-90%, Tandem will now automatically retry connecting up to 5 times using different channels. If all attempts fail, you’ll see an error message.

2. Reset streams without dropping the call
 Experiencing audio, video, or screen-sharing issues? No need to hang up.  Just reset your respective stream.

a. Audio: If you cannot hear someone, message them via Chat and have them reset their audio stream — click the small carat (˅) next to the mic and select Reset Audio.

b. Video / Screenshare: The person sharing their video or screen can reset these streams directly using the same menu.

These updates give you more control, reduce interruptions, and keep your calls running smoothly.
